Interviews

The following interviews come from the first two iterations of our site, mainly our old Midwest culture blog called “Midwestern Goodness,” viewable here. This section will also include some of our online content development work with folks like Chris Paul and LeBron James.

Jake Nickell (Threadless.com)
For this interview, we pried into the mind of Threadless founder, Jake Nickell. We asked him a bunch of questions about the early days of his company and of course the Midwest. Yeah you’ve heard the name before, Threadless sells around 1 million tees a year and get this…they’ve been featured on everyone of your favorite movies and tv shows. Anyhow, it gives us a great deal of pleasure to present our Q&A session with this amazingly awesome guy and his equally as dope company.

Chris Paul (NBA, New Orleans Hornets)
CP of the New Orleans Hornets is one of the best if not ‘the best’ point guards in the NBA. This segment is for a piece we did for his own CP3TV during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Check it out as it features a lot of today’s basketball greats like Jason Kidd, Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, Carlos Boozer, Dwight Howard, and more.

Jason Bitner (Found Magazine)
How much do our things tell about us? Found Magazine allows us to answer that question by giving us little glimpses into the lives and stories of others through the things they/we leave behind. Created by Davy Rothbart and Jason Bitner in 2001, Found interests the voyeur, the nosy neighbor, and the story lover in all of us through the thousands of finds collected and sent in by people from all over the world.
